Yup, its on public land, atleast one side is, the side opposite those pics is reservation land. Its called the Rio Pueble, apparently it isn't regarded as a great fishery compared to the other rivers around. That being said my father-in-law has fished it numerous times and caught 6-12 fish each outing, most 12" or so. Thats not bad in my book.
