No license needed , staying at the resorts you don't see the real Jamaica , while otherwise it CAN be dangerous , i have friends from Bedford been going for 30 years and make sure of safety , freshwater creeks is mostly mullet , 3 or 4 different kinds. They do have pay to fish lakes/big ponds with peacock bass i'd like to try that.
