to those #OOPS#ing, do you drive a car? if so, you are damaging the environment way worse than using a nymph wrapped with lead wire.
I said it in the other thread, we DO!!!!! use common sense and try to do whatever is possible and practical to protect our resource, but to have idiot politicians tell us what we can or can't do and then letting big industry do what they please is assinine.
personnally, I pick up trash EVERY time I fish. I belong and give money to 5 different conservation organizations. I recycle rainwater from my gutters for my garden. I keep my house at 65 degrees in the winter to conserve fuel. I ride motorcycles when weather permits that get between 50 and 70 MPG, saving precious gas for other SUV drivers. in my trade I use as many "green" building ideas that are feasible. I buy from local farmers and merchants for the majority of my needs. I recycle every item I can. if I had the room, there would be a windmill in my backyard, and if I lived where the sun would shine, I'd put solar panels everywhere I could stick them.
but I guess I might as well just drive a hog of an SUV, buy crap food from wallyworld, throw my garbage in the crick, and generally not give a damn, since I wrap my nymphs with some lead wire.
