Comments: - The first part of April started off with a bang at Baccarac and it has improved every day. Not only the swim bait bite, but the top water bite as well. Just received an e-mail from Marty Cooper who caught over 300 bass, 140 on topwater, a 10.5, a 9.3. and a 9.1, 25 largemouthbass over 8 lbs. and forty over 6 lbs. He ended his report by saying that in the last eleven years he has fished all of the Mexican bass lakes and none compare to Lake Baccarac.
James Meeks, who was fishing two weeks ago at Lake Baccarac, flew back to Chicago, gathered up a group and headed back to the lake yesterday. He has been fishing Mexican lakes for years and claims none compare to Lake Baccarac.
We had a lodge full of Japanese bass anglers, which the majority only fished top water. All reported it was the best fishing experience they have ever had and got photos and videos to prove it.
